Checklist from Articles 9, 11, 16 and 19 of Regulation (EU) 2023/988. Products under their own EU law (CE marking) follow that law's labelling rules; the Article 19 listing information applies to them too.

Nothing you tick is stored or sent.

What it checks

  • the information every online offer must show (Article 19);
  • the details on the product, its packaging or an accompanying document (Articles 9(5) to 9(7), 11(3) and 16(3));
  • the records a manufacturer keeps: technical documentation, a complaints channel and a register (Article 9(2), (3), (11) and (12)).

What it does not check

Whether the product is safe, and whether what you enter is correct. A marketplace checks that the fields are filled in; their accuracy stays your responsibility. Products under their own EU law, such as toys or electrical equipment, follow that law's labelling rules instead of Articles 9 and 11, but the listing information of Article 19 applies to them too.
